Another quick lunchtime run today. What possesses me to choose to run at lunch on the hottest days I have no idea. I even tried to convince myself to go onto the treadmill, but I just really hate the treadmill so it didn’t happen. After the run I did two quick sets of push-ups and trice dips at the park just to get some weights in, with everything going on with me at the moment I doubt I will have a chance to workout again before… sunday?
I forgot my Garmin at home but I used my iphone and ran the same route as last week so I think it was reasonably accurate, if anything I ran a little further.

It is very satisfying two 3 miles runs under 30 minutes, and I really think if it hadn’t been so hot both times I might have been able to get even better times. Granted the seawall lunch run is a pretty flat little jaunt.
The other strange thing is that my foot issues always feel better after running. I swear it hurts most when I walk, but after a run it always feels good. Although maybe everything is numb….
