This morning, my throat was less sore, but I was still feeling pretty blah. So I figured I would at least try and get the mileage in even if I didn’t make it a pace run.
Of course, when I got out there it was beautiful and a perfect day for a run so I rallied. It was rough near the end for the 1/3 of a mile which is uphill and on a rough trail, but I hit the numbers pretty close to my target pace over all. My target race pace for my half is 9:56 and my average for the run was 9:45. Defintley close enough, though there is absolutley no way I could run that for 13 miles. Yeah. No way. Well, maybe if it was totally flat.
