I really much prefer working out at a gym, I have more motivation and generally get a better workout. But, after our strata meeting ended at 9:30 I thought some Jillian was all I could muster.
I actually threw on the Biggest Loser I had pvr-ed and did the shred at the same time. Jillian was extra mean tonight, I totally wouldn’t actually respond to that technique I don’t think. But I like tough love in theory. Anyone ever wonder why they make them workout in cotton t-shirts? What, nbc can’t afford coloured technical tees? I guess maybe if it wicked away the sweat it wouldn’t looks as impressive on TV.
Despite all that, and not going to the gym, the 30 day shred videos really are great. I always get a good sweat going, but I really don’t think it is necessarily the best strength workout and doesn’t have as much core in it as I would like. But for 20 minutes, hell yeah. At any rate, I got in some strength and it means I only have one (speed run) workout on the table tomorrow, yeay!

i’ve never tried the 30day shred but i keep hearing great things about it. prolly going to have to check it out now
