Today my trainer worked me out harder then I think she ever has. I swear just when I think things are getting easier because I am getting stronger she introduces a whole new set of moves that make we want to vomit and fall asleep simultaneously. Jumping lunges never looked so good.
I don’t think it helped that my partner was MIA today so it was just me and my trainer one on one. Plus instead of the usual sets everything was timed so it was as much as you could possibly do in 25 second bursts, with 5 seconds between moves. Sort of like the 30 day shred actually. I am really looking forward to tonight’s bottle glass of wine.
Here is what we did:
Warm-up:
- Warmups on the ladder: crossovers, one foot in, two feet in, sideways,
- Knee ups, Skipping, walking lunches, walking squats, high knees, butt kickers, etc (like last week)
- Boxing
Set 1: Mostly Legs. 5 second rest between each exercise. Repeat it!
- Step ups with a jump. 25 seconds each leg. Opposing arm comes up
- V sit on bosu with shoulder raises with 10lb weights. 25 seconds
- Prison jumping Squats. (Hands behind your head), make sure you land soft and low. 25 seconds
- Chest delts on TRX. 25 seconds
- Jumping squats on Bosu. 25 seconds
- 1 minute water break
Set 2: Mostly upper body. 5 second rest between each exercise. Repeat it!
- In a high plank position on the bosu, jump up with your hands then land low. 25 seconds
- Jumping rows. 25 seconds
- Chest press with pulley thing. 25 seconds each arm
- Squat to one arm row. 25 seconds each arm
- 1 minute water break
Core:
- 45 seconds plank, hands on balance board, feet on upside down bosu
- Hands on upside down bosu, lift one foot off the ground, pause. Bring knee in to chest and pause, pivot knee to opposite elbow, pause, bring back pausing at each change. 8 each side.
- 3 different kinds of ab work including bicycles
Tomorrow is a rest day, hopefully with some yoga as it also promises to be a long day at work.
healthy meal idea of the day:
Try Bitchin’ Kitchen’s Single Life Salmon, it has a tablespoon of butter, which never hurt anyone, you can also watch the video. Awesome.

Your trainer sounds intense!
