I have been writing Daily Unadventures in Cooking for several years now. One side effect of being obsessed with food is the downside of eating a lot, so last year I needed to lose a bit of weight. I managed to lose the 10 pounds in a few months by cleaning up my diet, giving up soda and taking up jogging. Turns out I love jogging and I love eating healthy, most of the time.
I started this site as a way to track my progress towards my next training goal and also track some of the weights and lifting exercises I do which are hard to remember. On days when it is hard to motivate myself to get out there I find other blogs very inspiring and so I hope to add a little inspiration to the collective. Plus, this way I don’t have to impose stories of the daily run on my loving, but non-running, family and friends. Or at least, do it less?
